Well from 5pm tonight we are now a permanent resident (until otherwise directed) of the Esperance Seafront caravan park. It was a hot day here, around 34 degrees, so we took a walk along the beachfront after dinner to the esplanade and the town centre. We were sitting on the bench seats having a chat, when a young girl in her late teens or early 20’s came up to us and asked if we had and “green”. I’ve been asked a lot of things in my life but never that! Yes, its a strange time indeed!
Yesterday whilst I was playing golf, Susan went out with Steve and Vicki and did the Great Ocean Drive from Esperance. The following photos are from this drive which is about 40 k’s long to the west of Esperance. The Great Ocean Drive circles inland to the Pink Lake, which is no longer Pink due to the changing salinity levels. The Drive then works its way to the coast and follows it back to Esperance.

Hi Sue, its not bad here other than you can’t get toilet paper, hand sanitizer, chicken, pasta and milk. There hasn’t been anyone in the south of WA diagnosed with it yet, when there is it will go into meltdown I’m sure. We’ll just have to sit out time here, whilst its nice I hope its not too long. Hoping to get one more game of golf in, probably not today but on Tuesday before the restrictions get tougher on Tuesday night. I presume you guys are trying to get all your stuff to Albury before they lock you down in stage 3, which I presume means to can’t go anywhere. Have a good weekend. Cheers

Yes we are in Griffith this weekend trying to get Albert sorted. Played golf yesterday with Andrew and Emily and I even did okay. Trying to get the caravan set up earlier but they say they are booked out. We are going to call in tomorrow. Otherwise work is so busy with people loosening there shit. I am starting to work from home this week and will rotate with my colleague. Glad you are doing okay. We just want July to hurry up. Tell Sue I haven’t cancelled the flights yet as they will only refund up to the end of may. Andrew said don’t do anything yet just wait and see. Talk soon
