Well this is mainly a test to see if my blog is still active. In a couple of months time, Susan and I will jump back into Be Brave again to finish off tour of Oz. This time we’re heading up thru the centre, via Broken Hill in NSW before crossing the border into SA. Then we’ll head up to Darwin, visiting Woomera, Coober Pedy, Uluṟu, Alice Springs, Litchfield NP. From Darwin we’ll go back into WA and have a re-visit to a number of places we visited in 2020. We’ll head back down the coast to Geraldtown and then head inland to Kalgoorlie, from there its back across the Nullarbor into SA and the Eyre Peninsula. Then back into NSW before heading south back home. Sue and Andrew Christie are joining us on this adventure and we’re all looking forward to it. So come early July the Be Brave On Tour posts will begin again, I hope you enjoy them.
Hello Ray & Sue, Yes your blog is still alive
Lyn & I are currently paddock bound.
The Territory is really on its last wheels.
Our new Isuzu D Max is finally here in Australia, currently in Isuzu warehouse here in Melbourne. Been waiting 13 months, we were in Port Fairy this year when they said it would be delivered in February, but no,
It had Stink Bugs & bird poo on the cars – Aus quarantine rejected the whole ship & it went back to Thailand for cleaning. You know Lyn says it could only happen to us. So now we are waiting ……once we get our hands on it, then a quick trip up to the out-laws in Yarrawonga, as we need to get some K’s on the clock. (before we tow)
Lyn is now planning her 3rd Trip attempt, this time up the NSW coast.
We will leave the SA & WA trips to next year.
Lyn already has ghost plans in place, so it won’t take long to bring them to life.
Looking forward to your travel notes, take care & might see you on the road.
All the best,
Lyn & Chris.
Hi Guys, good to know its back working after 18 months. We’re locked down with COVID at the moment, it knocked me around for a few days but I seem to be over the worst, Susan has just got it. Even more reason we’re looking forward to heading off. This will probably our last roaming trip as we will have covered all of Oz basically. Plans are to head up north during winter for 3 months each year to keep warm, typical GN thing. Good luck with the new vehicle, I’m sure you’ll be happy and safe travels. Cheers
Hope all is well with you both and it appears “Be Brave” is still fully functional. Looking forward to keeping up with your next adventure and seeing the wonderful pictures of the locations you’ll be visiting.
Hi guys, hope you are both well. Susan and I currently have COVID and will be out of isolation in the next few days, so we are really looking forward to Be Brave On Tour, episode 2. Hope you guys are well and we still hope one day to get back to the UK. Cheers
All good at this end. The 2nd road adventure sounds great. Envious!
